Marking of the foundation

So, finally we could mark where our foundation should be.

Standing on the marked out ground made us wonder if we actually hadn't designed a too small house...

But then everyone has that feeling we were told.

Doesn't help right now...

Demolishing the garage!

We also had to get rid of the garage/storage that was on the lot.

Mostly because of the "hoses" for our warming of the house.

We are going to put down 400 meters of hose for our "jordvärme", or ground exchange heat pump as it is called in English.

Save the environment! (And our money... in the long run.)

To help the environment even further we sold the small building to someone that took it down and then put it up again some other place! Smart and efficient!

Cutting down the trees

So, to build our dream house we had to cut down some trees, all of them in fact.

Unfortunately they where to old to be safe to keep...

But now we have a lot of wood for the fire place!

The rest we cut into smaller pieces and drove to the city dump. Beatrice tried to help out, but was bored after 15 minutes.

Hi all,

Now, a bit late we will start telling you about our new house that we are building in Glumslöv.

Villa Hellspong.

We bought this house lot in 2007 and now finally in 2009 the work has begun on building the house that we designed ourselves.

First let us show you some pictures of the lot when we bought it!
